At NavuMilan, operated by MUKM CENTRE, we are deeply committed to protecting individuals online, especially children and minors. We enforce an absolute, non-negotiable zero-tolerance policy against any form of child abuse, child sexual exploitation, or related content on our platform.
🚨 Strict Zero-Tolerance Policy
NavuMilan strictly prohibits any form of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), and online grooming. Any attempt to upload, transmit, or solicit such content or engage in grooming behavior will result in an immediate lifetime ban, deletion of all associated data, and immediate reporting to cybercrime authorities, state police, and international child protection bodies.
1. Strict Eligibility & Age Requirements
NavuMilan is a matrimonial platform designed exclusively for adults who are legally eligible to marry under the laws of India. Minors are strictly prohibited from using our services under any circumstances.
- Minimum Marriageable Age: Under Indian matrimonial law, registration is strictly restricted to individuals who are at least 21 years of age for males and 18 years of age for females.
- Prohibition of Minors: We do not knowingly collect, process, or store personal data of individuals below these ages. If we discover or have reason to believe that a minor has registered an account (directly or by misrepresenting their birth year), the account will be immediately terminated.
2. Our Proactive Safety Measures
To ensure a secure environment and enforce our safety guidelines, NavuMilan implements robust technology-driven and manual moderation checks:
Secure Authentication
Registration requires WhatsApp OTP-based verification. The use of temporary, virtual, or VOIP numbers is blocked to prevent anonymous accounts and automated bad actors.
AI Face Validation
We use Google ML Kit on-device to check profile photo uploads. This ensures only solo, clear adult faces are permitted, preventing fake accounts, cartoon avatars, or child photo uploads.
Active Moderation
Profiles, bio-data texts, and user-generated text fields are filtered and monitored for suspicious activity, malicious keywords, or indications of child exploitation.
3. Prohibited Content & Behavior
The following activities are strictly banned on NavuMilan and will trigger immediate account suspension and legal escalation:
- Uploading, storing, sharing, or attempting to search for Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or any content depicting minors in an explicit, suggestive, or inappropriate context.
- Initiating communication, interest requests, or profile details intended to groom, solicit, contact, or exploit minors.
- Registering an account on behalf of a minor, or listing details of minors in family background sections in a way that compromises their safety or privacy.
- Using language or terms in biographies or chats that refer to child exploitation, child marriage, or illegal relationships.
4. How to Report Violations
If you encounter any profile, picture, biography text, or user chat message that you suspect violates our Child Safety Policy, please report it immediately:
How to Report:
- In-App Reporting: Open the offending user's profile card, tap the More (three dots) menu in the upper right-hand corner, select Report Profile, and choose Child Safety / CSAE Violation. This sends an immediate high-priority alert to our compliance team.
- Email Report: Email us directly at navumilan@gmail.com. Please provide the profile’s Display ID, registered name, or phone number, along with screenshots or details of the violation.
5. Direct Cooperation with Law Enforcement
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 (specifically Section 67B), the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, and other applicable global regulations, NavuMilan enforces a strict reporting mandate:
- Immediate Reporting: Any detected or reported instances of CSAM or CSAE will be reported within 24 hours to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) via the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) and to local law enforcement.
- Data Retention: In accordance with statutory requirements, we will preserve all digital footprints, IP logs, metadata, WhatsApp OTP records, and uploaded files associated with the violating user account to assist forensic investigations and prosecution.
- Collaboration with NGOs & Safety Groups: We work alongside national child safety helplines (such as Childline India at 1098) to ensure rapid assistance and support in protective cases.
