Terms and Conditions for NavuMilan

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the NavuMilan application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the App.

2. Eligibility

To register and use NavuMilan, you must satisfy the following criteria:

• You must be legally competent to marry under the laws of India (i.e., at least 18 years of age for females, and 21 years of age for males).
• You must not be prohibited by law from using our services.
• You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with all applicable local, state, and national laws.

3. Account Registration & Security

• Authentication: Registration requires a valid mobile number verified via OTP (One-Time Password).
• Biometrics: For enhanced security, you may opt to use device-level biometric authentication (fingerprint/face unlock). NavuMilan does not store your biometrics on our servers.
• Responsibility: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• Accuracy: You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your profile updated. Creating fake profiles or impersonating others is strictly prohibited.

4. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for commercial purposes, prostitution, escort services, or any illegal activities.
• Post or transmit content that is abusive, defamatory, harassing, sexually explicit, or racially/ethnically offensive.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access, copy, or harvest data from the App.
• Share or distribute the personal information of other users (including mutual connections) outside the App without their explicit consent.
• Attempt to bypass our security measures, including our screenshot-blocking technology (FLAG_SECURE).

5. Platform Features and Limitations

• Privacy Lock: NavuMilan utilizes a "Privacy Lock" to hide highly sensitive data from the general public, revealing it only to accepted "Mutual Connections." While we implement technical safeguards (like blocking screenshots on Android), we cannot guarantee that users will not use secondary devices to capture information. You share information at your own risk.
• Background Verification: NavuMilan acts solely as an intermediary platform. We do not conduct background checks, criminal screenings, or verify the authenticity of the information provided by users. You are strongly advised to conduct your own due diligence before meeting or interacting with matches.
• Reporting: We provide in-app tools to report suspicious or abusive users. We reserve the right to investigate and terminate accounts at our sole discretion without prior notice.

6. Content Ownership and License

• Your Content: You retain ownership of the photos, text, and data you upload. By uploading content, you grant NavuMilan a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the matchmaking service.
• App Content: All trademarks, logos, code, and designs associated with NavuMilan are our exclusive property.

7. Payments and Subscriptions

• Third-Party Processor: All payments for premium features or subscriptions are processed securely through our authorized partner (Razorpay).
• Refund Policy: Unless explicitly mandated by applicable law, all purchases made within NavuMilan are final and non-refundable.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. NavuMilan explicitly disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific matrimonial match will be found.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, NavuMilan, its developers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or emotional distress, arising out of your use of or inability to use the App, or from the conduct of other users.

10. Account Termination & Erasure

You may delete your account at any time using the in-app deletion feature. Upon deletion, your profile will be removed from the platform. NavuMilan also reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Vadodara, Gujarat.
